Kristin Fisher has joined CNN in July 2021 as the station's Space and Defense Correspondent. She covers all aspects of space, from NASA and the Space Force and commercial space companies, to the emergence of Space Tourism. Kristin, her mother was one of NASA astronauts, and also an enthusiastic space lover, grew up immersed in the field. She worked for five years as the White House correspondent for FOX News covering space policy in the Trump and Biden Administrations. In addition to covering two presidential impeachment cases, 2020's Presidential Campaign, as well as both administrations' efforts to stop the spread of coronavirus, Kristin covered a lot of other things. She traveled extensively with both the president and vice-president also included an official trip to Afghanistan and Afghanistan, which she travelled on with Donald Trump. Kristin worked her way through the regional news market of Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, as well as Washington, D.C. for nearly a decade before being hired by the CBS network. She was awarded one Emmy Award in Washington, D.C. as a CBS affiliate's single-man reporter. With her experience behind the camera, Kristin founded Field Mouse Films in 2014. The company specialized in making documentary-style films for corporate clients including Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin received her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism at Boston University. She currently lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband, and their three-year old daughter.
